Q: What is your role at CleanSlate?
A: Technical Architect

Q: What made you want to work for CleanSlate?
A: I had grown tired of the corporate grind and wanted to push myself in a consulting role where I am forced to continue my growth & not remain complacent.

Q: What does your day-to-day look like at CleanSlate?
A: Normal morning stuff – coffee, heads-down work before meetings, more coffee… I try to keep things in a routine but no one day is alike, which gives me the ability to switch focuses as needed and it keeps me on my toes. I always try to set time aside for self-improvement which might be studying for a new certification or learning a new skill. Keeping up with the industry is a full-time job in and of itself. I try to remember that sitting at a desk all day takes its toll, so going on walks with the family and exercising is important to me.

Q: What skills are you currently utilizing in your role?
A: Technology changes but my skills in understanding my client’s needs and the ability to provide value don’t – I will do my best to deliver what is best for them. I enjoy looking at where headaches and roadblocks are and providing solutions to improve productivity. Seeing my solutions for automation, processes, and standardizations come together and leaving each client in a much better place brings me enjoyment.

Q: How has the company helped your growth within your role?
A: CleanSlate has provided resources and an understanding of the importance of training and skill growth.

Q: What do you like most about what you do for CleanSlate?
A: I truly enjoy the balance I have working with a company that trusts me and lets me get things done. I am able to focus on professional goals, training, and personal improvement with constantly improving my skills. Family-first will always be a priority and a deal-breaker for me. I like that CleanSlate provides this and I still remain productive and provide excellence for my clients. I want deployments to go from a week-long manual process to a button-click promotion that can roll during the middle of the day without any risk.

Q: What movie did you last watch?
A: I’ve been running through all of the Star Wars and Marvel movies/TV shows with my kids!

Q: What are 4 things you cannot live without?
A: My family, alone time to recharge, physical activity, and video games.
